Up cycling that is affordable and practicableThere are many people now living below the poverty line and this book really can make a difference to those people. I found particularly about this book was this it was easy reading, easy instructions. My best read was the Denim Bag, as I love Denim. Good read.

I collect craft books and really looked forward to all the fun ideas this one is offering but a wave of disappointment washed over me when I realized there are no photos to accompany each of her wonderful descriptions. There are ways to up-cycle and recycle your old jeans into totes and worn tee shirts into new skirts, tops even dog beds. To be honest she has a link to the photos or the book’s author says or thinks there’s a link but when I clicked on each one of the links it took me to some sort of sales link or an advertisement for more books. I am frustrated as heck and can’t use this resource to make crafts so I don’t suppose I’m suggesting you purchase this book unless you don’t mind not having pictures of the finished items. There’s a huge variety of great designs here and it’s really a shame she is relying on some computer links for the photos. I also think that if you’re more patient than I am maybe there’s a way to find the photos. Seriously, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to want to read this book and select the items to create by looking at completed crafts.
The cover is professional and colourful. Sadly the interior is written sparsely, contains no pictures of projects and no details. The picture is a typical 'project' from the book. No details about attaching one braid to the next no details about frayed fabric or edges, I was taken in but I'll be upcycling this book.
Re-cycle and Re-use. Now a day’s all big companies have started Re-cycle and Re-Use for saving the resources. This is the book which helps us up cycling old and unused dresses. And the great part is up cycling them into new products which fit to the modern outfits.
This will help us to increase our creative thinking and change our leisure time into something useful. We also have bonus 10 popular crafts. Read it and turn trash into treasure and old into modern outfit.
There's nothing much of any interest in this book. I had to give it one star because that's the only way I can post a review, but I'd have given it less if I could. The projects are very ordinary, (such as cutting off the bottom of a pair of pants to make capris, how original! No one would have thought of that one without the help of this book. ) and more of the same. There are no pictures. You are directed to click a link for pictures. This takes you to the authors website, where, if you have lots of time and unlimited patience, you might eventually find a picture. But....don't count on it.
If you have clothes that you want to re-make, you will find better ideas online than what is presented in this book.

This book has some fun ideas in it-I never thought of making a rug out of old bed sheets. But it would be nice to have the photos in the book, not as a separate file.
What a great book with lot of ideas on how to reuse old clothes for something usable, modern and nice. I love this kind of books. I just tried Floor Rug With Old Bed Sheets. I appreciate the images of final products, that are attached to each idea.
Got stuff you want to keep or find a new use for ? This book has 100 projects you can try out, to not only bust boredom but find new use for old things.
My favorite projects were
1. The boyfriend jeans, which is basically distressed jeans (or you make them look wore out)
2. T-Shirt wrap skirt which I made for my daughters, they love them.
3. Jeans with Patches, its cute and vintage.
4. tote bag (with 4 kids this came in handy for after school activity bags)
The book gives you detailed instructions on how to make the project and gives you links to images so you can see what it would look like. (you do have to put in an email but I have a email just for stuff like that)
